AEIS考试——Admission Exercise for International Students. 即新加坡国际学生入学考试
The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is a centralised admissions exercise conducted by MOE around September or October each year for new international students who wish to join our mainstream primary and secondary schools in January of the following year.

International students who are unable to make it for Oct 2011 AEIS and / or are unsuccessful in previous AEIS attempts (including Oct 2011 AEIS) can take part in the Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) in February 2012.

AEIS报名及考试时间
AEIS 考试报名时间在每年的7月份到8月份之间。S-AEIS考试报名时间在12月到第二年的1月份之间。
AEIS考试时间大约在每年9~10月之间。S-AEIS考试时间大约在2月底~3月之间
AEIS报名方式
1.上新加坡教育部，网上付款报名考试。
2.学生直接到新加坡教育部报名。
AEIS报名年龄限制
报名考试当年1月1日满7周岁——未满17周岁之间的中国学生均可报名参加AEIS考试。
AEIS考试科目
数学和英文。
部：英文考试120分钟； 数学考试80分钟
初中部：英文考试130分钟；数学考试75分钟
AEIS考试选择
不可以自己选择学校，都是由新加坡教育部直接分配的。
AEIS难度
AEIS考试科目有数学和英文。相比之下，中国学生的数学基础很好，只是英文是学习的重中之重。
报名AEIS考试之前，建议先申请新加坡的政府中学预备班学习，可以购买新加坡各类教材进行自学，或者参加一些AEIS考前培训班。
